Crispy beer-batter onion rings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup beer
  • 3 lg onions cut into 1/2 in thick slices, rings seperated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Directions

  1. oven temp 425

  2. mix dry ingredients

  3. stir in beer w/whisk until foam subsides

  4. add onions, tossing to coat evenly, a few at a time

  5. allow excess batter to drip off

  6. place on plate

  7. heat oil in a lg non-stick skillet over med-high until hot

  8. cook single layerof onion rings for apprx 1 1/2 min on each side or until browned

  9. place on baking sheet when done

  10. bake for 6 min or until crispy
