Bud Bruschetta

  • 6 tomatoes, ripe
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Red wine vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 15 leaves fresh basil
  • 4-6 cloves garlic
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of red pepper
  • loaf of french bread
  • 1/2 to 1 oz nice bud, finely chopped


  1. Combine the olive oil and bud in a skillet.

  2. Cook on med for about 10 min or until sizzling and the bud is nice and coated with the olive oil.

  3. Set aside and let cool.

  4. Chop the tomatoes into 1/4 × 1/4 inch cubes.

  5. Chop the garlic and basil finely.

  6. Add all ingredients (except the bread) and stir.

  7. Let set for about thirty minutes.

  8. Take the french bread loaf and cut into 1 inch thick slices and toast.

  9. Put a nice spoon of the italian salsa on top of the bread.
