Italian Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Italian sausage
  • 4 cans tomato sauce (6.5 oz ea)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package spaghetti (8 oz)

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, brown sausage over medium heat

  2. Drain and set aside

  3. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine tomato sauce, diced tomato, bay leaves, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, pepper and Italian sausage. Mix well.

  4. Simmer over medium low heat for at least one hour.

  5. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil

  6. Add pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes or until al dente, drain.

  7. Mix hot sauce with pasta, serve.
