Very Easy Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg pepperoni
  • 2 jars basic tomato sauce
  • italian seasoning
  • 8 oz. ricotta cheese
  • 1 lg. egg
  • 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 4 c italian cheese mix, shredded
  • 8 oz. lasagna noodles, uncooked

Directions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet; drain the fat. Combine the ricotta cheese, 1 c of the shredded cheese, egg and parsley in a medium bowl; mix thoroughly.

  2. Pour 1 cup of the tomato sauce into a greased 9 × 13 inch baking dish.

  3. Layer 1/3 of the noodles on top of the sauce. Place 1/2 of the ricotta mixture, 1/2 of the ground beef, 1/2 of the pepperoni and 1/3 of the mozzarella on top of the noodles. Top with 2 cups sauce; repeat layers. Layer the last 1/3 of the noodles, top with remaining sauce and mozzarella cheese.

  4. Cover the dish with foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

  5. Alternative: prepare all ingredients separately and toss loosely in a bowl.
