Burgundy Steak

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 1" strips
  • 1 T canola oil
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed French onion soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 c burgundy wine or beef broth
  • 3 c hot cooked egg noodles

Directions

  1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine flour and paprika.

  2. Add beef, a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat.

  3. In a large skillet, brown beef in oil.

  4. Add soup and wine (or broth); bring to a boil.

  5. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 10-12 minutes or until sauce is thickened.

  6. Serve with noodles.
