sweet and sour tempeh

Serves 2 people

Ingredients

  • sauce
  • 1/3 cup white or rice vinegar
  • 4 TB brown sugar
  • 1 TB ketchup
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 4 teaspoons water
  • tempeh
  • i like to add
  • green pepper
  • canned pinapple chunks

Directions

  1. Mix the vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, and soy sauce together

  2. bring to a boil in a small pot.

  3. Mix together the cornstarch and water

  4. add to the other ingredients

  5. stir to thicken.

  6. fry up tempeh

  7. add everything together

  8. usually i make some rice to go with this
