Honey Dijon Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 to 3 1/2 lb. broiler-fryer chicken
  • 1/3 c. country-style Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 3 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

  1. Heat over to 375

  2. Place chicken, skin sides down in ungreased pan, 13 × 9 × 2

  3. Mix remaining ingredients

  4. Brush over chicken

  5. Cover and bake 30 minutes

  6. Turn chicken

  7. Brush with mustard mixture

  8. Bake uncovered about 30 minutes longer or until juice of chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut

  9. (If chicken begin to brown too quickly, cover with aluminum foil.)
