Brown Sugar Baked Salmon

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. salmon fillet
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tbl. melted unsalted butter
  • 3 tbl. soy sauce
  • 2 tbl. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbl. dry white wine or water

Directions

  1. Line a baking pan with foil.

  2. Place the salmon on the prepared pan.

  3. In a bowl, whisk the marinade ingredients together and pour over the salmon.

  4. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes or up to 6 hours.

  5. When ready to cook, preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  6. Uncover the salmon and place on the middle rack in the oven.

  7. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, basting every 5 minutes, or until fish begins to flake when tested with a fork in the thickest part. Do not turn the fish. Serve hot.
