Caesar Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 large bunches of romaine
  • 1 Tb Grey Poupon mustard
  • 2 Tb Worcestershire sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tin of anchovies in olive oil
  • 1/2 c olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon or 3 Tb lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Garlic croutons
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions

  1. Coddle the egg by boiling it for one minute only.

  2. Cut up anchovies.

  3. Whisk or blend together mustard, Worcestershire sauce, anchovies, and garlic.

  4. Add egg and whisk or blend together.

  5. Add lemon juice and olive oil.

  6. Pour over lettuce and top with cheese, croutons, salt and pepper.
