東坡肉

Ingredients

  • 1 kg square piece of belly pork
  • 1/2 cup of dark soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup of rice wine
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 star anise
  • some ginger
  • little soya sauce

Directions

  1. Put ingredients into a bowl, covered, on a rack in the pressure cooker with a couple of inches water.

  2. Turn the heat to high to bring the cooker to pressure. Lower heat to medium and cook for 1/2 hr – 45 mins.
