Korean Pickled Bean Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 300 g bean sprouts
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1-1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch pepper
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onion
  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Blanch bean sprouts in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, or until softened, but still a little crunchy.

  2. Drain, rinse in cold water and rince again.

  3. Combine all other ingredients and pour over bean sprouts and mix.

  4. Chill 2 hours.
