Marinaded Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound flank steak
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Combine marinade ingredients in a shallow nonmetal container. ( I use a gallon size Ziploc bag)

  2. Place steak in marinade turning to coat completely. Marinate covered for a least 4 hours or overnight, refrigerated.

  3. Remove steak for marinade; grill 5 minutes on each side so it is browned on the outside but still rare in the center.

  4. Cut steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices before serving.
