Old-fashioned Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 c. margarine
  • 2 Tb. orange rind, grated
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Sift sugar. Cream margarine and gradually add sugar and rind. Cream thoroughly. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually add combined flour and salt; mix well. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 80 minutes.
