Houston’s Spinach and Artichoke Dip

I am not convinced this is the exact recipe but it is good

Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Serves 15 people

Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs 10 oz chopped frozen spinach
  • 1 1/2 cans artichoke hearts, chopped and drained
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 stick butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz shredded monterey jack
  • 4 oz shredded mozzerella
  • 4-6 oz heavy cream
  • 4 oz shredded parmesean
  • 1/2 t red pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. cook spinach and drain

  2. saute onions in butter

  3. whip cream on medium until thick

  4. mix everything together except parmesean cheese

  5. chill at least two hours

  6. bake on 350 until hot and bubbly

  7. add paremsean just before serving
