Barbecued Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pound pork roast
  • 1 bottle (14 ounces) of your favorite barbecue sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 8 hamburger buns or hard rolls

Directions

  1. Place the pork roast in the Crock-pot slow cooker.

  2. Cover; cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hours or on HIGH for 5 to 6 hours or until done.

  3. Remove the pork roast from the stoneware.

  4. Shred the meat with 2 forks.

  5. Pour out any liquid in the stoneware.

  6. Return the pork to the stoneware and add the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and onion.

  7. Cook on LOW for 1 hour or on HIGH for 2 hours.

  8. Serve the pork on hamburger buns or hard rolls.
