Asian Orange Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2-lbs flank steak
  • 12-oz can ginger ale
  • 6-oz can frozen orange juice Concentrate, thawed
  • Chow mein noodles
  • 1/4-cup light teriyaki sauce
  • 2-tsp sesame oil
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/2-tsp red peper flakes
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 green onion

Directions

  1. Mix 1/2 can soda, OJ, teriyaki, sesame oil, garlic, red pepper flakes. Add in steaks and marinate in fridge.

  2. Alow steaks to come to room temperature. Cut peppers and onions into strips and remove seeds.

  3. Grill steaks on med heat, bast with marinade a few times. Bast pepers and onions then grill.

  4. Let steak sit on cutting board for 10 minutes to alow juices to soak back in. Then cut steak into short 1/4" slices.

  5. Boil the marinade over high heat for 5 minutes. Reduce the heat to med-low and stir in the steak, onions and peppers. Cook for 2 min.

  6. Serve with the chow mein noodles
