Fried Ravioli

Ingredients

  • 2 tbl. milk
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup dry Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 pkg. refrigerated fresh ravioli, any flavor
  • Vegetable oil
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Spaghetti or pizza sauce

Directions

  1. Combine milk and egg in a small bowl. Place breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl. Dip ravioli in milk mixture, and coat with breadcrumbs.

  2. Pour oil to a depth of 2 inches into a Dutch oven. Heat to 350 degrees. Fry ravioli, a few at a time, 1 minute on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

  3. Sprinkle with Parmesan and serve immediately with warm sauce
