Sauteed Apples

Can be made 2 days ahead. Cover and chill.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbl. butter
  • 4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored. sliced
  • 2 tbl. golden brown sugar
  • 1 tbl. honey
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. grated orange peel

Directions

  1. Cook butter in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until beginning to brown.

  2. Add apples and saute until tender, about 9 minutes.

  3. Add all remaining ingredients; stir to blend. Cool
