CROCKPOT-Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 3 carrots, cut up
  • 2 lb. beef chuck or stew meat, cut in 1 1/2" cubes
  • 1 c. water or beef stock
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 stalk celery with tops, cut up
  • 3 potatoes, cut up
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3 onions, quartered
  • 1 c. wine (opt.)

Directions

  1. (If using Zesty Tomato soup instead of water or beef stock, you can omit all spices from Worcestershire to paprika.)

  2. Put all ingredients in crock pot in order listed. Stir just enough to mix spices.

  3. Cover and set to low for 10 to 12 hours. High 5 to 6 hours.
