Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • Layer 1:
  • 2 cans french style green beans
  • 1 can white shoepeg corn
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • Layer 2:
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 8oz sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cup cheddar, shredded
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 onion, small, chopped
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 1/2 stacks of Ritz crackers

Directions

  1. Grease large pan. Drain first 3 ingredients (beans, corn, chestnuts). Add to pan and dot with 1/2 stick of butter.

  2. Mix next 5 ingredients & spread over first layer.

  3. Melt 1 1/2 sticks of butter & Ritz crackers. Spread over second layer.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
