Baked Pork Chops and Sauerkraut

Ingredients

  • 6 bacon, fried and diced
  • 2 lb. sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 c. applesauce
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 6 pork chops, 1 inch thick
  • 2 tbsp. oil

Directions

  1. •Preheat oven to 350° F. Meanwhile, briefly brown pork chops in hot oil in fry pan.

  2. •In a casserole, mix all the ingredients, except the pork chops.

  3. •Place pork chops on top of mixture.

  4. •Cover and bake for about 1 hour.

  5. �Serve with boiled potatoes. Serves 6.
