Pizza Dough

Serves 3 people

Ingredients

  • 2.5 teaspoons yeast
  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 3.5 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt

Directions

  1. Put the yeast in the water and stir until it is dissolved.

  2. Beat sugar and flour together separately, then add half of that dry mixture to the yeast mixture.

  3. Mix in salt and oil, then stir in the rest of the flour.

  4. Knead dough for 10 minutes on a lightly floured surface.

  5. Put ball of dough into a greased bowl, and cover with a damp cloth.

  6. Place in an 80 degree oven for an hour and 45 minutes.

  7. Once dough has risen, knead it down and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
