Anson County Chicken Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced cooked chicken (boiled)
  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole kernel corn
  • 1 (16 ounce) can creamed corn
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth (not the condensed kind)
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup, so or 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • salt and pepper, as needed
  • 2 -3 bay leaves
  • 1 pinch basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh rosemary, snipped
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into crock pot.

  2. Cook on “low” setting for approximately 6 hours.

  3. Serve with saltine crackers and a green salad.
