Spicy Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 12-oz bottle Frank's RedHot sauce
  • 1.4 c. cornmeal
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 t. salt

Directions

  1. Place drumsticks in 2 large ziplock bags, divide hot sauce evenly between bags and seal them. Massage bags to coat drumsticks. Refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.

  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil. Coat foil with Pam. In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour and salt. Remove drumsticks from bags, shaking off extra sauce (discard sauce). Dredge drumsticks in cornmeal mixture and place on baking sheet, spaced so they don’t touch. Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning twice during baking time, until cooked through. Serve hot.
