Categories: Snacks

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 medium sized apple, mashed (I have no idea how one would go about mashing an apple. I grate it)
  • 1.5 cups self rising flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1.5 cups any type of Caramilk chocolate, broken into pieces. add extra if desired. (if you use normal sized caramilk bars I find it is about 2 bars!)
  • 1/4 cup pecan nuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Mix butter, sugar and egg together in a bowl. Stir in mashed bananas and apples. Add flour, cinnamon and milk. Stir through chocolate.

  2. Pour into a greased and lined loaf pan. Sprinkle with nuts.

  3. Bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in centre comes out cleanly. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, then cool in pan for 10 minutes before taking out to cool completely
