Perfect Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 single pie crust
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. Prepare pastry according to directions for an unbaked pie shell. Place the pastry into a 9" pie pan.

  3. Spread the pecans over the pastry. Combine the eggs, sugar, com syrup and melted butter. Beat together well. Pour the mixture over the pecans.

  4. Bake on lower oven rack for 30 minutes or just until set.
