Chocolate Pie

Ingredients

  • 9 Inch baked pie shell
  • 1/3 Cup Hershey's Cocoa
  • 1 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Cornstarch
  • 1/4 TSP Salt
  • 3 Cups Milk
  • 3 TBSP Butter
  • 1 1/2 TSP Vanilla

Directions

  1. Prepare pie shell. Cool

  2. Combine Cocoa, sugar, cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan.

  3. Blend in milk until smooth.

  4. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils.

  5. Boil for 3 minutes.

  6. Remove from heat.

  7. Stir in butter and vanilla.

  8. Pour into pie shell.

  9. Press plastic wrap onto surface.

  10. Chill 3 to 4 hours

  11. Served with sweetened whipped cream.
