Ingredients

  • 3 sticks sweet butter, melted
  • 1 Greek coffee cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • handful of chopped almonds
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 4 egg whites

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Beat egg whites until stiff.

  3. Melt butter and combine with egg yolks and almonds

  4. Add flour gradually

  5. Shape into balls

  6. Make an impression in each cookie

  7. Fill with the meringue

  8. Sprinkle with almonds

  9. Bake until done
