Buttermilk scalloped potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1/8 t. pepper
  • 1lb. peeled and thinly sliced potatoes
  • 2 t. butter or margarine
  • 1 med. onion chopped
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • Pinch of paprika

Directions

  1. In shallow dish, combine flour, salt and pepper.

  2. Dredge potatoes into the flour mixture and place in the shallow 2 quart baking dish.

  3. In a small skillet, heat butter and add onion.

  4. Saute about minutes or until tender.

  5. spoon onion over potatoes and pour over the top.

  6. Sprinkle with paprika and bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until potatoes are tender.

  7. 350 degree over
