Baked Salmon with Mustard-Dill Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh dill
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs center cut salmon fillets, with skin
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the first 4 ingredients.

  2. Add salt and pepper to taste and blend well.

  3. Allow to stand at room temperature for 1 hour.

  4. Lightly grease or oil a baking sheet.

  5. Put salmon, skin side down, on baking sheet.

  6. Sprinkle with garlic, salt and pepper.

  7. Spread with 1/3 cup of sauce.

  8. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until just opaque in the center.

  9. Serve with the rest of the sauce.
