Pinapple Dessert

You can also subsitute sliced strawberries for the pinapple.

Serves 12 people

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1c. butter
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 sm. packages vanilla instant pudding
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 c. powder sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
  • 8 oz. cool whip
  • 20 oz crushed pinapple, drained
  • 8 oz. cool whip

Directions

  1. Mix brown sugar and flour, cut butter into flour mixture with a pastery blender and add nuts. Put into a 9 × 13 baking dish, bake @ 300 for 20 minutes. Let cool!

  2. In a bowl combine vanilla pudding and milk. Mix and put into fridge.

  3. In a seperate bowl mix cream cheese and powdered sugar. When smooth mix in Cool Whip.

  4. When crust is cool spread cream cheese mixture on the crust. Then put drained pinapple on cream cheese mixture. Then top with the pudding.

  5. Top pudding with the second cool whip and chopped nuts if desired.

  6. Chill
