FRENCH SILK PIE

Ingredients

  • 8" baked Pastry Shell
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 - 1 oz squares Unsweetened Chocolate, melted & cooled
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs, unbeaten

Directions

  1. Cream butter at low speed.

  2. Gradually add sugar, creaming well.

  3. Blend in chocolate and vanilla.

  4. Add eggs, with mixer at medium speed, one at a time, beating 3 to 5 minutes after each.

  5. Spoon into baked pastry shell.

  6. Chill 2 hours.

  7. Serve with whipped cream and walnuts, if desired.
