Bread Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 2 cups onions, chopped
  • 4 cups celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper chopped,
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • Butter and olive oil
  • pepper
  • 2 teaspoons sage
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 2 bags of seasoned croutons
  • 2 chicken boullion cubes (dissolved in 3 cups of water)

Directions

  1. Saute all of the vegetables in the butter and oil

  2. Add sage, pepper and sugar

  3. Add the croutons and continue to saute

  4. Add the broth and stir

  5. Fold in the beaten eggs

  6. Place in covered casserole dish and bake at 325 for 30 minutes.

  7. Uncover and bake for another 15 minutes

  8. Baste with turkey juice (optional)
