Chex Pumpkin Pie Crunch

  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 T. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 2 t. vanilla
  • 2 c. Cinnamon Chex cereal
  • 2 c. Wheat Chex cereal
  • 2 c. Honey Nut Chex Cereal
  • 8 oz. pecans


  1. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice; set aside.

  2. In a small microwave-safe dish, microwave butter on High for about 30 seconds or until melted.

  3. Stir in vanilla.

  4. In a biv microwaveable bowl, mix all cereals and pecans.

  5. Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly distributed.

  6. Add sugar and spice mixture; stir until coated.

  7. Microwave uncovered on High 5 minutes or until mixture begins to brown, stirring every minute.

  8. Spread on waxed paper or a cookie sheet to cool.

  9. Store in an airtight container.
