Sour Cream Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 single pie crust
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg unbeaten
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • Topping:
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup softened margarine

Directions

  1. Mix salt, flour, sugar and remaining ingredients except apples. Beat until smooth, add the apples and then put in the pie shell and bake at 400 for 15 minutes and then turn oven down to 350 and bake for 30 more minutes.

  2. ine ingredients for topping, put on top of pie and cook for 10 minutes at 400.
