Guacamole

(from bjs2005’s recipe box)

**For an easier and cheaper version, mix mashed avocado with your favorite salsa and adjust seasonings as needed.

Ingredients

  • • 2 avocados
  • • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • • 2 Tablespoons chopped onion
  • • 1 clove minced garlic
  • • 1 Tablespoon chopped tomato
  • • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Directions

  1. Cut the avocados into halves. Remove the seeds, and scoop out the pulp into a small bowl. Use a fork to mash the avocado. Stir in lemon juice, onion, salt, and olive oil.

  2. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
