Savory Turkey Breast

Ingredients

  • 6 1/2 pound bone-in turkey breast, thawed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium stalk celery, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon

Directions

  1. Remove gravy packet or extra parts from turkey breast.

  2. Place onion, celery and bay leaf in cavity.

  3. Place turkey in slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  4. Mix bouillon and water until dissolved. Pour over turkey.

  5. Cover and cook low 8-9 hours or until juice when cut is no longer pink.

  6. Remove bayleaf.
