Salmon Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 1/2 pounds) can salmon (use canned always)
  • 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • 2 t. grated onions
  • 1 t. horseradish
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/4 t. liquid smoke
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
  • 3 T. snipped parsley (dried works best)

Directions

  1. Drain and flake salmon, removing skin and bones.

  2. Combine salmon with next six ingredients; mix thoroughly.

  3. Chill several hours.

  4. Combine pecans and parsley.

  5. Shape salmon mix into 8×2″ log; roll in nut mix; chill well.

  6. Serve with crackers.
