French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. loaf of French Bread cut diagnolly in 1" slices
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp light corn syrup

Directions

  1. butter 9 × 13 dish

  2. arrange bread on bottom

  3. beat eggs/milk/cream/vanilla & cinnamon

  4. pour over bread slices

  5. cover and refridgerate over night

  6. preheat oven to 350

  7. in a small sauce pan combine: butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup until bubbling

  8. pour over bread and egg mixture

  9. bake 40 minutes uncovered

  10. enjoy
