Toll House Crumb Cake

Ingredients

  • topping:
  • 1 T flour
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 T softened butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup choc morsels
  • cake:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream

Directions

  1. topping:

  2. preheat oven to 350

  3. in bowl combine flour, brown sugar, butter, and mix well

  4. stir in nuts and chocolate morsels

  5. cake:

  6. in small bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt- set aside

  7. in large bowl combine butter, sugar, and vanilla and mix well

  8. add eggs one at a time, beat well after each egg

  9. gradually add flour mixture, alternating with sour cream

  10. fold in remaining choc morsels

  11. spread into gread 13×9×2 pan

  12. sprinkle topping evenly over batter

  13. bake at 350 for 45 min
