Chili

Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 large green papper
  • 2 link polish sausage (cut 1/2 in slices)
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large spanish onion
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 2 tsb salt
  • 1 tsb celery sticks
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 small jalapeno pepper
  • 1 can italian tomatoes
  • 1 can pinto bean
  • 1 can garbanzo beans
  • 1 tsp peppers
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/3 cup worchestshire sauce
  • 1/2 cup heinz ketchup

Directions

  1. in a large pot borwn bacon, remove, leaving fat, then crumble when cool

  2. borwn polish sausage, remove, pour off fat

  3. brown ground beef, revmoe, pour off fat

  4. saute onion and green pepper for three min, add all seasonig salt, pepper, celery, and chili

  5. add wine and werchestershire sauce and simmer for 30 min uncovered

  6. add jalapeno pepper, ketchep and tomatoe with liquid, simmer for 30 min

  7. add all beans with liquid

  8. bring to a boil then simmer for an hour

  9. cool and refrigerate over next

  10. best if served next day
