Pizza Dough

(from bripri’s recipe box)

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 60 minutes
Serves 5 people

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup warm water
  • 3 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  1. In a 2-cup liquid measure, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until foamy, 3- 5 minutes.

  2. In mixer, add flour, salt and 2 teaspoons olive oil.

  3. Once yeast water is foamy, pour into dough mixture whil machine is running. Process dcough for 30 seconds. Coat evenly with remaining olive oil, and allow dough to rise for forty-five minutes.
