Healthified Lemon-Dill Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped drained capers
  • 2 teaspoons snipped fresh dill or thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried dill or thyme, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely shredded lemon peel
  • Assorted dippers (such as carrots sticks, zucchini strips, bias-sliced yellow summer squash, fresh pea pods, and sweet pepper strips)

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, stir together yogurt, sour cream, capers, dill or thyme, and lemon peel.

  2. To serve, stir dip; if desired, garnish with additional lemon peel and fresh dill or thyme. Serve with dippers.
