Best Pizza

Cook time: 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup tepid water
  • 3/4 tbsp or 1 pkg yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups flour (1 1/3 cup whole wheat, 2/3 cup white) makes crust thick, yet not too soft
  • thick tomato sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese (sliced or diced)
  • Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Your favorite pizza toppings

Directions

  1. Dough:Dissolve yeast in tepid water.

  2. Stir in salt, sugar, oil and flour.

  3. Form into ball; set aside, covered in a bowl, in warm place (like on top of preheating oven) for 15-20 minutes, to rise.

  4. Oil hands and spread dough on oiled pizza sheet (spread out dough, do not squash down).

  5. Form edge on crust (so melting cheese does not run over).

  6. Cover with tomato sauce.

  7. Sprinkle toppings in large pieces.

  8. Cover with mozzarella.

  9. Cover with Parmesan.

  10. Bake 30-40 minutes at 350 until crust looks golden and cheese is bubble.

  11. Let cool.
