Barth Pasta Carbonara

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil
  • 1/4 c fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lb bacon, cooked & cut up
  • 1 box pasta shells
  • 1 t lemon juice
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 c parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. When frying bacon, drain most of the grease, but keep a little.

  2. Add 2 T olive oil and garlic. Remove from heat and add lemon juice.

  3. Beat egg in separate bowl. Add the parmesan, parsley and pepper to egg mixture.

  4. Cook egg in spearate bowl. Add the parmesan, parsley and pepper to egg mixture. Cook pasta, drain, place back in warm pan, add egg/cheese mixture and bacon mixture. Mix and serve.
