It’s traditionally used to flavor kibbeh, a ground lamb and bulgur wheat dish, as well as meat stuffings, tomatoes, and sauces, soups and stews

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons ground coriander
  • 2 tablespoons ground paprika
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons curry powder, such as Cape Curry Powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ground dried limes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cloves
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and stir to blend.

  2. Store the mixture in an airtight container for 1 to 2 months.
