Spiced Chinese fish

Ingredients

  • 800g White fish fillets
  • 1/2 tsp Chinese five spice
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup dry white breadcrumbs (4 slices bread)
  • 1-2 eggs, beaten
  • oil to fry
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 4 spring onions
  • Soy sauce

Directions

  1. Mix spice into flour.

  2. Dip fish pieces in flour, then into egg, then coat in breadcrumbs.

  3. Fry fish until golden, keep warm in a dish.

  4. In a clean pan, fry chopped spring onion and diced tomatoes together for a couple of minutes. Add about tablespoon of soy sauce.

  5. Poor sauce over fish.
