Granola

Most granola sold in the stores contain sugar and other ingredients that are not healthy. Here is a nice homemade Granola recipe that all the family can enjoy.

Serves 8 people

Ingredients

  • 4 C. (500 grams or 100 ml) Oatmeal flakes
  • 1/3 C (90 ml) cold pressed sunflower seed oil
  • 1/4 C (60 ml) raw natural honey
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Celtic sea or Himalayan salt
  • 1/2 C (125 ml) unsweet coconut, shredded
  • 1/2 C sunflower seeds, raw unroasted
  • 1/3 C (90 ml) almonds
  • 1/3 C sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 deg/200 C.

  2. Put Oatmeal flakes into a large oven pan and heat for 10 minutes.

  3. During the 10 minutes mix together the: Sunflower seed oil, raw honey, vanilla and salt

  4. Take the pan out of oven.

  5. Next add the: Coconut, sunflower seeds, almonds, and sesame seeds.

  6. Mix well and add the oil honey salt mixture to the dry ingredients.

  7. Mix well again and put into oven for 12 to 20 minutes. Remove and stir about three(3) times during the cook time untill moderately brown.

  8. Let cool and serve with Oat Milk
