Springtime Punch

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Sugar
  • 2 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup Fresh lemon juice (3 to 4 lemons)
  • 1 cup Fresh orange juice (2 to 3 oranges)
  • 6 oz. Can frozen pineapple juice Concentrate, thawed
  • 2 qt Ginger ale, chilled

Directions

  1. in a saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil.

  2. Boil for 10 minutes; remove from the heat.

  3. Stir in the lemon, orange and pineapple juices.

  4. Refrigerate.

  5. Just before serving, combine ginger ale in a large punch bowl.

  6. Note: you can float fresh whole strawberries in the punch bowl or skewer them for individual cups.

  7. Yields: 3 quarts (16-20 servings).
