Mulled Cider “The real thing”

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apple cider (or 1/2 gal/8 cups)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 orange (thinly sliced)
  • 3/4 cup apple jack brandy
  • 3/4 cup GOOD rum
  • For 2 gallons:
  • 6 cups apple jack
  • 6 cups Rum

Directions

  1. In stock pan, heat cider, cinnamon and orange until very hot.

  2. Remove pan from burner, then add liquor.

  3. Stir.

  4. Put back on low heat and keep HOT.
